Andy, Eli, and I recently returned from a wonderful, relaxing, and fun 9-day West Virginia visit! Andy had several days that he needed to use prior to July or sadly enough he would lose those precious days off. Excited for our get-away, we packed (stuffed full might be a better word choice) our SUV and let those country roads take us home! While we loved every minute of our time spent in West Virginia visiting with family and friends, golfing, shopping, eating at some of our favorite spots, trying to keep Eli on his schedule, and making time to visit both Pittsburgh and Morgantown, our little trip allowed for lots of pictures, but zero time blogging. Therefore, I have lots to catch-up on!
While I love living in our development with miles and miles of sidewalks for stroller adventures, I just love the quiet and peaceful landscape of my home on the hill. Adjoining a pretty field, where countless deer, turkeys, and other wildlife are the norm, it's also nice to stroll up a quiet road where only a few other homes take residence.
Carmen enjoys many a walk up and back the small road in front of my mother's home and also enjoys being "leash-free" due to the absence of cars. Oh the blessings of "small-town" living.
