we're seeing stripes!

Andy and I have been busily preparing our nursery for the anticipated November arrival of our baby boy! After many, many rolls of blue tape, we are thrilled to report that we are now "seeing stripes"! Just walking by this empty room makes me smile and I can't help but peek in each time! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful, adoring, and loving husband. He has taken such care to measure, remeasure, chalk, tape, and paint our nursery! I think it looks pretty fabulous and cannot wait to share pictures of an even more "finished product" as our nursery slowly, but lovingly comes together!



Ms. Carmen and I would play each time Andy
would measure for two new chalk lines! She certainly enjoyed her play time!

"picture perfect"

Andy and I received a very excited phone call from Morgantown late last night, exclaiming "They're posted!" Kent and Danielle called to share that their beautiful wedding pictures had been posted to their photographers website! What gorgeous memories they now have of their most special day. How will they every choose?!? Some of my favorites include our courthouse, pictures on the railroad tracks by our covered bride, in front of the old train station, and on Route 57 (yes, we were stopped in the middle of the road)! our big wedding weekend

Andy and I were so excited to spend some much needed time in West Virginia with our families during Kent and Danielle's big wedding week and weekend! What fun we had seeing Morgantown again, spending time with family and friends, and of course sharing in Kent and Danielle's special day! While it simply does not seem possible that "the big day" has passed, I am reminded that school bells are ringing and summer has come to an end! Although Andy and I wish that we were in Aruba, just like Kent and Danielle, we couldn't have asked for a sweeter way for summer vacation to end!
